While technology connected people globally, it also introduced a new era of comparison and consumerism. Major events such as September 11, 2001, and the 2008 financial crisis reshaped public perspectives, encouraging many to rethink priorities, spending habits, and personal identity.

These cultural shifts were reflected in every aspect of beauty and fashion.

The 2000s combined nostalgia with bold self-expression, bringing back styles inspired by the 1960s through the 1980s while introducing new trends influenced by pop culture and music.
