Hi everyone! My name is Erin Durr, I work as an Executive Assistant at MakeupClasses.com. I’ve loved makeup and the beauty industry for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was always experimenting—recreating looks I saw on TV and in movies, binge-watching YouTube tutorials, and practicing on myself and friends. I never imagined that my favorite hobby would grow into such a rewarding career!
Along with being a makeup artist, I also manage social media for MakeupClasses.com. I love graphic design, creating content, and capturing student progress during classes. It’s so exciting to take photos of their makeovers, share transformations, and create fun content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and live videos. Blending my passion for artistry with creativity behind the scenes has been such a fulfilling part of my journey.
I officially started my beauty career in 2023 at Beauty Packaging Magazine as a sales associate. Soon after, I joined The Makeup Studio, where I now work full-time, Monday through Friday, 11 AM – 7 PM. I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary here, and I can honestly say I love it. I’m surrounded by positivity every day, and I feel so lucky to work with our amazing clients.
A huge milestone for me was completing the 40-Hour Advanced Makeup Techniques class. This course taught me how to apply makeup with balance and symmetry using The Anatomical Makeup Method™, and it completely transformed my confidence as an artist. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro looking to sharpen your skills, I can’t recommend this class enough—it will take you from 0 to 100!
