Meet Your Makeup Artist: Juliza

Hi, I’m Juliza! I’ve always loved everything beauty related. Back in high school and college, I was that girl who was always experimenting—whether it was trying new makeup looks or dyeing my hair every color (blue was definitely my favorite!).

My passion for beauty led me to become a licensed esthetician, where I fell in love with waxing, facials, and eventually found my love for makeup all over again.I wanted to keep learning, so I searched for the right makeup course and that’s when I found Dawn at The Makeup School. I took the 40-Hour Advanced Makeup Artistry Technique course. Dawn’s Makeup Artist’s Design Book became my makeup bible. Not only did Dawn teach me how to create looks for every face shape, but also how to properly set up and care for makeup clients.

Now, as part of The Makeup Studio team, I love being able to share that passion and creativity with every client who sits in my chair. My goal is to make you feel beautiful, confident, and cared for—whether you’re here for a natural look or a full glam transformation.

Fun fact about me: my favorite color is emerald, and when I’m not at the studio, you’ll probably find me curled up with a book learning as much as I can about skincare.
